DESCRIPCION :
The parallel printer sharing device , ap-801 , allows up to 8 computers to share 1 printer . It provides the automatic switching wich automatically locks-on and services the computer that request to print and puts the printer to work . It also provides the manual switching feature wich works in exactly the same way as the conventional data switch and thus offers you more convenience in your printer sharing aplications. In additions , the printer sharing device provides a 4-bit DIP switch wich enables the user to adjust time-out period , and to effect or disable the form-feed feature. The signal protocol is virtually transparent to user. The printer sharing device should be compatible witch parallel printers in the world. Thus , your printer sharing device not only saves the cost of your next printer , but algo improves tremendously the efficiency of your switching applications .
